Armed with a Bachelor's degree in counseling and specialised studies in grief and bereavement, Maria has worked extensively in private practice, support groups, online forums, and retreats. During times of grief, counseling and energy healing can be especially beneficial, offering comfort and support when you’ve lost a loved one. Energy healing is a powerful tool to help you navigate your grief and process the intense emotions involved.
When we experience grief, our bodies often enter a fight, flight, or freeze response, also known as the stress response. How the Holistic Session Works
Your holistic session begins with counseling, where you have the space to discuss your grief as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. The length of time spent in conversation is entirely up to you, allowing you to set the pace for your healing journey.
Following the counselling, we transition into the energy healing work. You’ll lie comfortably on a massage table, allowing your body to rest and unwind. We start with deep breathing exercises to help your mind and body relax.
During this phase, Maria will work with your grief and emotions, guiding you through a process that allows you to subconsciously acknowledge, feel, process, and release the layers of grief and emotions you may be holding. She will engage with your limbic system, vagus nerve, and nervous system, as well as your physical and energy bodies, to facilitate deep healing.
At the conclusion of the energy healing work, we will sit together and debrief, discussing the energy work that took place and any insights or experiences you wish to share. Maria may offer recommendations for practices or exercises to process your grief between sessions, such as journaling, meditation, self care.

Maria is a dedicated Energy Healer and Reiki Seichem Master, deeply passionate about providing emotional healing to her clients. Reiki (Ray-Key) is an ancient Japanese healing practice that channels universal energy, drawing from the elemental forces of Earth. Seichem (Say-Keem), a healing system rediscovered in 1980 with roots in Ancient Egypt, incorporates the elemental energies of Water, Fire, and Air.
Energy healing is a non-invasive treatment where the practitioner’s hands facilitate the flow of healing energy into the client, clearing and balancing the client’s energy field. During a session, the client can sit in a chair or lie down on a massage table, remaining fully clothed.
This practice helps alleviate physical symptoms while releasing tension, anxiety, fear, grief, and other negative emotions. As these emotions are cleared, a profound sense of peace and well-being often emerges. Energy healing grounds and centers you, allowing a deeper connection with what your mind, body, and spirit are communicating. After a session, clients typically feel refreshed, with a more positive and balanced perspective.

Online Grief Holistic Counselling
Online holistic counselling via Zoom video calls provides an accessible option for those who may find it challenging to attend in-person sessions. This service is available to clients regardless of their location, offering the same principles as face-to-face counselling and energy healing but in a virtual setting. These sessions remain confidential and private.
Maria is a qualified Energy Healer and has been attuned to the energy frequency of Reiki and Seichem Healing. Maria uses a specific frequency healing energy with purpose and intent when sending it to her client providing well-being and healing for them.
The benefits of distant energy healing is that it can be sent to the client wherever they are located and at any time that is convenient to them. For some clients receiving distant energy healing at home helps them feel more relaxed and enables them to be more open.
A distant energy healing session will work the same as an in person session.
